Embark on a path of self-discovery and empowerment with SPACE Retreats. It feels much better and deeper than taking a holiday. Whether a SPACE Retreat takes place in high mountains, wellness resorts, remote islands or ocean shores, we secure the entire location for accommodation. Throughout, we maintain our practice of continuous hiking and meditation in nature in venues worldwide. It's akin to a remarkable adventure, blending movement, relaxation with mental development.
At SPACE Retreats, we offer a transformative journey to reconnect with your inner self and rediscover the profound beauty of silence in the heart of nature. Our retreats are carefully designed for small groups of 10-15 people, providing you with the space and serenity to "Switch Off" from the outside world-, or rather to "Switch ON" by recharging, supercharging your mind and body.
During our retreats, participants embark on a unique experience where they switch off their phones and make a heartfelt promise not to engage in verbal communication or eye contact with one another. This intentional silence allows us to delve deep into our own mental landscapes, free from the distractions of external influences.
Our retreats take place in remote natural environments, including pristine Natural Reserves and secluded islands, as well as carefully chosen closed environments where no external disturbances can interrupt your inner journey.

Science Behind SPACE Retreats
At SPACE Retreats, our foundation rests upon the principles outlined in the book 'Professional Intuition in Decision-Making – We Shoot From The Hip' by Seal Josephson, Ph.D. This groundbreaking work explores the science of intuition through a multi-disciplinary lens.
Central to this philosophy is the 'Unified Theory of Mind & Consciousness,' which posits the ephemeral nature of both the mind and reality. This theory, supported by extensive research, elucidates how the mind and the fabric of reality briefly emerge, dance in existence, and then dissolve back into the vast expanse of space.
To participate in a SPACE Retreat, familiarity with this book is essential. It lays the intellectual and scientific groundwork required for full engagement with the retreat's purpose and practices.
The Tradition Space Retreats Root From
Next to science, we also build on meditation lineage traditions of Tibetan Vajrayana Buddhism. While we apply their learnings, just by participating a SPACE Retreat and from a scientifical perspective applies meditation method of focusing the space-nature-, or let's say a 4D spacetime-like nature of mind and reality, doing some special body-movements one does not become a Buddhist.

What Practices Do We Learn And Do?
On the retreats we do The Four Mental Practices (4MPs) and The Health-Benefitting Dynamic Movement sequences (DMSs).
The Four Mental Practices - The Modern Path to Awareness Intelligence (AQ)
Seal Josephson's Four Mental Practices—3DS, 3DO, 4DS, and 4DO—present a contemporary approach to enhancing mental clarity, emotional well-being, and a deeper connection to the nature of awareness. These practices aim to shift habitual thinking patterns and expand consciousness beyond the limitations of the 3D everyday perception to an all-encompassing 4D mindset. Each practice offers unique insights and benefits tailored to different levels of engagement with awareness.
1. 3DS: Holding 3D Space
3DS focuses on cultivating awareness of the vast, open space that surrounds and permeates everything. Unlike traditional methods that emphasize focusing on specific objects or thoughts, 3DS invites the mind to rest in the spaciousness of the present moment, fostering a sense of openness and clarity.
Benefits: Calm and Clarity, Enhanced Focus On What Matters, Sense of Freedom
2. 3DO: Exploring Opposites to Break Mental Patterns
3DO uses the interplay of opposites—such as light and dark, or form and space—to disrupt habitual thought patterns. By contemplating the relationship between opposites, the mind learns to transcend dualistic thinking and uncover deeper insights into how experiences arise.
Benefits: Breaking Mental Habits, Greater Insight, Emotional Balance
3. 4DS: Resting in Spacetime Awareness
4DS encourages practitioners to rest in the natural state of awareness that underlies all experiences. This practice shifts focus from individual events to the flow of spacetime itself, fostering a sense of timeless presence.
Benefits: Deep Relaxation, Expanded Perspective, Effortless Presence, Dissolving 3D-Related Mental Blocks And Hindrances From A 4D Perspective
4. 4DO: Letting Go of All Concepts
4DO focuses on effortlessly letting go of mental constructs and concepts. This practice invites the mind to rest in its natural state, beyond labels and dualistic thinking, revealing the inherent clarity and perfection of awareness.
Benefits: Mental Freedom And Limitlessness, Enhanced Intuition And Other Capacities, Profound Inner Peace With Enhanced Outer Activity
Each of the Four Mental Practices is designed to guide individuals toward a deeper understanding of their mind and its connection to the world. Together, they offer:
- Clarity: Helping practitioners see beyond surface-level thoughts and emotions.
- Awareness & Balance: Cultivating emotional and mental equilibrium by recognizing their root-cause and movement.
- Freedom: Encouraging a release from habitual patterns and rigid ways of thinking; thus, allowing mind's limitless capaties to unfold.
These practices are accessible to anyone, whether as standalone techniques or as a progressive path toward expanded awareness. By incorporating them into daily life, individuals can experience profound benefits, including greater focus, emotional resilience, and a deeper connection to the present moment.

The Health-Benefitting Dynamic Movement Sequences (DMSs or Dynamic Yogas)
Next to the 4 Mental Practices we also explore ancient-, healthy dynamic movement sequences (DMSs) that are basically Tibetan yoga movements, which have been passed down through a close master-disciple lineage, designed to move energy droplets within the body's subtle channels. Unlike Hatha and other Indian yoga traditions, these practices involve dynamic movements—such as shaking, arm swings, and thrusts—combined with specific breathing techniques and visualizations. They energize the body and make thii mind more aware.
These practices work with various energy channels that reside in the center of the body as a magneto-electric axis, focusing on non-worldly, liberating energy dynamics. They not only help us liberate ourselves from habitual 3D consciousness but also improve our bodily health and precious lifetime.
The facilitator of the Space Retreat has received the authentic transmission and permission to share these yogas.
How Do We Do Space Retreats?
On the first day, we commence by switching off our phones. Subsequently, we engage in discussions about the intellectual framework underpinning the retreat, establish agreed-upon rules, and individually commit to responsible participation through contract agreements. We then familiarize ourselves with the specific movements we will practice and align our schedules for meditation, tracking, meals, and rest.
Starting from the second day onward, we enter a period of silence, refraining from verbal communication and eye contact. Our focus turns inward as we diligently follow the schedules we've collectively agreed upon, dedicated to exploring and addressing our own mental tendencies.
Our guidance throughout the retreat encompasses the four mental practices, walks, and the practice of specialized movements, facilitating a profound inward journey.
In the initial days, you may find solace in sleep during meditation sessions as you release the burdens of the outside world. This process rejuvenates your neural pathways and energy channels, enabling you to achieve sharper focus during the latter part of the retreat.
Our focus at SPACE Retreats is threefold. We explore the space-nature of the mind and reality, which inspired our name. We recognize the inseparable connection between appearances and space. Most importantly, we learn to let go of the notion that we "need" to focus, allowing for a deeper, more natural awareness to emerge.
During the retreat: no talking, not looking each others' eyes, no sign language, no communication in any way, no smoking, no pets, no alcohol, no sex. We lock our phones and get it back after the retreat; no phone calls, no wifi (no internet). Only pure nature; outer nature, inner nature, as it is. Also, no type of recording device is allowed.

Who Leads Space Retreats?
The SPACE Retreats are led by Seal Josephson, both students of the late Peter Galambos, the above mentioned enlightened master.
Seal Josephson, a seasoned board member with a track record in three leading multinational corporations. He authored the book "Professional Intuition in Decision-Making – Shoot From The Hip."
In terms of mind-teachings aquired, Seal's roots trace back to the Karma Kagyü Lineage of the Karmapas, where they received the transmition of the Mahamudra path from the 17th Karmapa's trusted lama in the West, Lama Ole Nydahl. They also learnt much from Garchen Rinpoche. The chan/zen, mahamudra and dzogchen methods Andrea and Seal carry they mostly learnt from Peter Galambos. They received transmitions from him and organized/ participated his retreats.
It's important to note that despite boasting over two decades of meditation experience, Seal can not lay claim to enlightenment or liberation. Instead, he serves as amiable facilitators who have received transmissions from esteemed masters. His primary role revolves around guiding individuals on the path to liberation from disruptive thoughts and emotions, offering practices and heartfelt advice. He serves as friends and mentors, providing clear direction on the necessary steps to take. Crucially, he does not foster dependency among SPACE Retreat participants. He even recommends SPACE Retreat participants to find liberated or enlightened masters and utilize further what they thought. His sincere aspiration is to empower each individual to attain freedom and independence on their unique journey.
